Our Childrens and Young Peoples Service

Our specialist childrens service supports children between the ages of 6-18 years. We spend time building a positive rapport with your child, with an aim to then equip your child with skills to manage unhelpful thinking, regulate their emotions and make changes in behavioural responses. Skills practised in session with the therapist are then practised in situations where your child has been struggling to allow for positive life changes.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT uses fun and engaging activities to help your child:

- Regulate their emotions

- Manage unhelpful thoughts

- Make changes to unhelpful behaviours

Mindfulness Sessions

Mindfulness training offers powerful tools to help your child remain focused on the present, rather than caught up in dwelling on the past, or worrying about the future. Remaining in the present moment can enhance feelings of peace and relaxation.
