Counselling is a talking therapy that provides a confidential space for you to discuss your current emotional difficulties. Counselling allows you to talk through you
thoughts and feelings, with someone who is there to listen to you and to help you find your own solutions. Counselling is a short term focused therapy, and often very helpful when experiencing life
challenges e.g. breavement, relationship difficulties, stress at work. Often we will see people experiecing a range of emotions including sadness, anxiety, anger, jealousy, guilt and shame during
counselling sessions. During counselling you chose one or two particular challenges to focus upon, the aim of counselling is to help you make sense of what is happening in your life and to work out
what changes you can make and how.
